Single Review: Holy Motors - 'Valley'

Holy Motors have taken their sound to a whole new level of psychedelic rock with their haunting new single, ‘Valley’.

Taken from their upcoming debut album, ‘Slow Sundown’, ‘Valley’ continues to exercise Holy Motors’ experimental sonic palette present in all their dark tracks. The band have a strong concept for their record that is compiled of sad love songs and centres around the idea of motion.

Valley’ is an atmospheric track that has a air of emptiness surrounding it. The isolated guitars at the beginning of the track make the vocals stand out on a eerie platform that encapsulates the audience within its loneliness and sense of loss.

The track keeps the listener captivated in a sense of ghostly solitude that we hope will continue through the whole album.

‘Slow Sundown’ will be released on the 9th of March.
