RAT BOY - 'Revolution' (Single)

Ahead of the biggest summer festival dates of his career, RAT BOY releases his brand new track ‘Revolution’.
‘Revolution’ seems like the ideal post-Brexit anthem. The single packages Rat Boy’s rabble-rousing live show energy and presents lyrics that capture a wide ranges of issues impacting upon the lives of young generation. ‘Revolution’ is lead by distorted stadium rock drums, reminiscing beats like if they were somewhat influenced by Faith No More’s ‘The Real Thing’. "It seems interesting to note the chorus vocals sound almost as though they were recorded through a megaphone, this effect gives the lyrics an even more powerful message of urgency and helps evoke a call to action response.

Revolution may strike away from a guitar-rock audience, but is no stranger to Rat Boy’s signature eclectic influences also including hip-hop and big beat. Brutally honest and punchy, the single revels in punk vigour similarly to his past releases.

RAT BOY’s biggest UK headline tour commences next month and culminates with a major London show at The Roundhouse on May 6th. In addition, his summer festival dates will be bigger than ever before with highlights including Glastonbury, main stage performances at Reading and Leeds, his first festival headliner at the inaugural Grinagog Festival, plus The Great Escape, M4Music and Garorock in France, and many more to come.
