The Video Explained: Billie Marten - 'La Lune' & 'Milk & Honey' Single Stream

North Yorkshire musician, Billie Marten unveils the video for 'La Lune' the B-side to recent single 'Milk & Honey,' out now  on 7” vinyl through Chess Club Records & RCA, alongside news of her debut UK headline tour and a run of festival dates this Summer.

About The Track:
Produced by Rich Cooper (Mystery Jets, Cloves and The Temper Trap), 'La Lune' / 'Milk & Honey' are both beguiling tracks with understated, beautiful arrangements, giving room for Billie Marten's delicate vocals to take flight.

' La Lune' is “a nostalgic nod to a time last Summer where I really badly sunburnt my face, but also about instinctive feelings of being home, without the ‘heat’ of everything”
'Milk & Honey' - “a song about the greed of people, the thoughts that we’re all sort of stuck in this consumerist frame of mind” - explains Billie.
The Video Explained: Speaking of the video Billie says,“I found these old VHS’s at home and I remembered there was a load of footage of our family wandering around Whitby beaches and BnBs. The song's all washy and dreamy and it instantly made me think of that. We borrowed some friends film camera for a few months but also managed to capture a lot of sentimental moments too. I love watching it."
